1993
- kang mihee debuts as a solo act with a city pop album. the public adores her for her bright charms and catchy music. not only does she have musical success but also commercial success, starring in multiple commercials and becoming brand ambassadors.1995
- kang mihee and yoo won meet at a cultural gala for the first time. the spark of ambition they see in the other's eyes is what attracts them. after a delightful conversation at the gala, the two continue to meet.1997
- mihee announces that she will retire as an idol and marry yoo won. refusing to sit idly as a housewife, mihee wishes to open a beauty salon and begins her planning.mid-1998
- the couple is overjoyed by the news of mihee's pregnancy. however as yoo won's workload increases their relationship becomes increasingly shaky.1999 - 2000s
1999
- on july, seoah's born in gohyang when mihee was visiting her hometown. she was a lovely child with sparkling eyes, and everyone adored her. yet mihee could only feel a sense of disappointment when won chose work over seeing his daughter for the first time.2000s
- the couple officially divorced on new years, won moved to new york and mihee moved back to gohyang. with independence in her grasp, she was finally able to establish the beauty salon she dreamed of.

for seoah, the salon was her entire childhood. for as long as she could remember, she would be by her mother's side as mihee greeted guests and regular clients. at some point little seoah was like the salon's mascot - if she wasn't sitting at a random table doing her homework after school, customers would begin to worry. during the summers, she would often be found playing games with a boy her age - still not too far from the salon.won would visit during the
christmas holidays every year, and the now broken family would be subject to an awkward, rather quiet holiday dinner. the combination of mihee's continued bitterness towards won and his distance from seoah meant that seoah could never view her father affectionately. to her, he was just a stranger who came once a year to make things awkward for everyone. and while she was envious of the happy complete families around her, seoah still felt content without his intervention.

2010s to 2021
2010-2016
the teenage years are always turbulent and it was no different for seoah. while she became popular with both girls and boys for her stunning looks and outwardly kind personality - many kept a distance from her. she would hear whispers from the parents who picked their children up and quickly understood why.
"she's a pretty girl with an absent father, she's bound to be bad news.""wasn't her mother that fox who bewitched yoo won and then left him years later? oh i just know the apple won't fall from the tree."as a result, seoah's circle of friends was rather tight-knit, and while she did maintain a good relationship with other people around her age. she learned to keep a distance that should rarely be crossed.2017-2021
seoah expressed to mihee that she wanted to take over the salon in the future. however, she also wanted to study abroad and expand her horizons before coming back to gohyang. mihee calls won to tell him not to come back for the holidays this year, and to prepare an extra room at his residence.seoah leaves that summer and begins her life in new york. she occupied her time with her studies and hair stylist training, the occasional fling, and the usual heartbreak. all the while seoah did everything she could to avoid any awkward conversations with won.it had been a fruitful 4 years, she was able to make a name for herself in a foreign country without any connections. and it was the perfect opportunity to stay in new york.but seoah's heart was in gohyang and the salon, so she returned.

present
2022 - //with her newfound recognition, seoah was able to increase the amount of customers coming into the salon. seeing her daughter's dedication, mihee also decided to step down and give seoah the reigns to managing everything. now, she's busier than ever; when she's not at the salon she's somewhere at a shoot in apgujeong, seoul, styling a celebrity client's hair. if she's at neither in the salon or seoul - seoah is napping away in the corner of her room.

- in an argument, seoah is often the mediator. she seeks to find harmony in everyone and without intervention can become overwhelmed with making everyone happy. however if people do not acknowledge her efforts in calming the situation, she leaves them to their own devices.- people like her because she's cordial but are often taken aback when she says biting words with a smile.- when she's upset about something it can be difficult for her to communicate unless someone pries it out of her.- she doesn't cry easily but she does tend to mope around.

seoah had probably spawned a consciousness some time after she had become friends with doyoon. they've been friends for so long that seoah can't remember a time where he wasn't by her side even if they were seas apart. as much as she does tend to poke at his buttons, doyoon is the singular person she can confide in.

Miyeon, Seoah's senior in high school, also serves as her math tutor. When Seoah's math grades began to jeopardize her advancement to the next grade, Miyeon stepped in to help. Since their graduation, the two have reconnected after several years apart and have developed a close friendship.
